Winner: TurboClean
Stain Cleaning Tests

| Coyote Urine | 1 | 2 | 1.9 |
| Total | 36 | 53 | 45.2 |
The TurboClean performed significantly better than the PowerDash Pet+ in our upright stain test.
The table above lists the number of passes it took to clean each stain.
A score greater than 10 indicates that the stain was not completely cleaned after 10 passes (we ended the test after 10 passes). For example, both models scored over 10 for the tomato sauce stain, so neither model completely cleaned this stain after 10 passes. The PowerDash Pet+ left a darker stain than the TurboClean though, which is why it scored higher (12 vs the TurboClean’s score of 11 for the tomato sauce stain).
The largest discrepancy in performance between these two models involves the peanut butter stain. The TurboClean completely cleaned up this stain in only 5 passes. The PowerDash Pet+ could never completely clean up this stain, even after 10 passes.
Winner: TurboClean, by a large margin.

Area of Coverage
| TurboClean | PowerDash Pet+ | Average | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sq. Ft. Per Clean Tank | 62 | 130 | 137 |
| Total Clean Tank Capacity (Oz.) | 80 | 78 | 119 |
| Soap + Water Used Per Sq. Ft. (Oz.) | 1.3 | 0.6 | 0.8 |
| Sq. Ft. Per Dirty Tank | 44 | 74 | 89 |
| Dirty Water Tank Capacity (Oz.) | 52 | 52 | 96 |
The TurboClean has a slightly larger clean water tank and the same size dirty water tank as the PowerDash Pet+, but it uses significantly more water while it cleans.
Because it uses so much more water, the TurboClean cannot cover as large of an area as the PowerDash Pet+ before you need to refill its clean water tank and empty its dirty water tank.
Winner: PowerDash Pet+
Maintenance
You cannot remove the brushroll of either model without a screwdriver, but the PowerDash Pet+ lets you open up the top of the compartment that surrounds its brushroll, which makes cleaning around its brushroll (without removing it) much easier than it is to do the same with the TurboClean.
You can open up the dirty water tank on both models and cleaning this tank is equally easy to do on both models.
Winner: PowerDash Pet+
Versatility
You cannot connect a hose and spot cleaning tool to either model.

Other Notes and Features
Both models have exactly the same measured cleaning path width (7.5”).
Both models are equally easy to use because they are just about the same size and weight and work much the same.
You pull a trigger near the handle of both models to dispense soap and water, and you release this trigger to maximize suction on both models.
Winner: Tie
Verdict
Our bottom line recommendations.
The TurboClean loses a lot of categories, but wins the most important category – stain cleaning.
It’s mostly because it performed so much better than the PowerDash Pet+ in our upright stain test that we generally recommend the TurboClean over the PowerDash Pet+.
